Gallery

Generally speaking, Loudmouth exists in service of the arts and creativity. As a gallery we seek to promote overlooked and unseen artists, primarily pulling from the local creative sphere. We host art shows that invoke a gallery experience within an unconventional space. Standing in contrast to the white box gallery model, creatively activating the record store forces the artists to intimately interact with the culture promulgated by the store and thus the community that composes it. There is no sense of artistic hierarchy or exclusion, rather we pride ourselves on the inclusivity of our community and the diversity therein. Art should exist as a communal model and bringing the visual in the same context as the musical arts that the store usually champions, unlocks creative potential and collaboration.
